  Fantastic little hotel with very friedly staff and great food .we stayed for a 4 day golf break and didnt feel the need to eat or drink anywhere else .

  This review is to attest to the amazing service that one employee of the Russell Hotel bar/restaurant gave to me and my colleagues when visiting St Andrews last winter. They weren't open yet for lunch but a young man made us soup and sandwiches, since we were on a tight schedule. One of my bags was left behind, and I called to have it sent by taxi, a few hours away, which would have cost a lot of money. However in the morning, on the way to play golf, Michael dropped it off! I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants true genuine caring service! Thank you again Michael (I hope I am remembering the correct name) !
